POL-MUX System for Noncoherent Optical Networks

This paper is focused on applying a polarization multiplex to passive optical networks double their transmission bandwidth without significant changes in the distribution network. Although multiplexes are already employed for high-speed transport with digital signal processing and coherent detection, we propose system that could be used existing older using dynamic controller combination wavelength division multiplex.
